For the eighth year in a row, ‘Cultuurstation’ is going to organize a side project for primary school pupils. After the ‘Lampenkappen’ (2011), the ‘Bloemenzee’ (2012), the ‘Fladderaars’ (2013) , ‘Squares’ (2014), ‘Kroonlichters’ (2015), Cocons (2016) and last year’s Drijflanden, this year’s group 5 and group 7 pupils of forty Eindhoven primary schools, have created ‘Cocoons’.

For the eighth year in a row, CultuurStation is organizing a project for pupils in primary education. Inspired by the richly decorated ceilings of Chinese temples and palaces, the pupils create their own ceiling above the Demer by weaving strips of plastic through netting.

The last couple of years, GLOW for KIDS has turned out to be a success formula. This project not only contributes to the creative development of children, it also offers them an extraordinary experience: discovering their own artwork amidst all the other GLOW projects in the company of parents, teachers or other children.
Participation 2018: 30 primary schools with a total of 2,050 students
Participation 2017: 27 schools with a total of more than 200 students.
45 teachers take part in the workshop for inspiration.
