Route
This year’s GLOW Festival route guides hundreds of thousands of visitors along an approximately 5 km walk through the city centre, featuring around 35 spectacular light artworks.
With the interactive GLOW map, available online before the festival, you can easily track your location on your phone (when location services are enabled), follow the route, and discover detailed information about the artworks, restaurants and other facilities along the way.
Prefer a printed version? A physical map of Eindhoven is available for €2 at the information kiosk along the route and at the This is Eindhoven Store in De Heuvel.
Accessibility
Prepare for the crowds around GLOW. The easiest and most conscious way to get to GLOW Eindhoven is by public transport or bicycle. This way, you will experience the least inconvenience from traffic and crowds, and it’s also better for the environment.
Traveling by public transport? Coming by public transport? Tip: you no longer need to buy a separate ticket. With OVpay, you can easily check in and out using your debit card, credit card or mobile phone on trains, buses, trams and the metro. Or apply for the new OV-pass via ovpay.nl.
Road closures
Daily, from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, several streets in the city center will be closed to through traffic. Residents living directly along the route will receive a letter from GLOW with information on the best way to access their home. Questions? Email info@gloweindhoven.nl.

Transport
Are you coming by train? Good choice! Eindhoven has two stations: Eindhoven Centraal and Strijp-S Station. This year the GLOW route is near Eindhoven Central Station. We therefore advise travelling to this stop. Check ns.nl for the latest travel information.
Surrounding villages and areas usually have services running to Eindhoven Centraal Station. Check 9292ov.nl for the relevant travel information.
Due to road closures, several bus stops in the city center will be out of service. The P. Czn. Hooftlaan and Eindhoven Central stops are located in close proximity to the route.

Attention! The city center is dedicated to GLOW, and Eindhoven is not easily accessible by car during these days. Coming by car? Please expect heavy traffic! Parts of the city center will be closed between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM during GLOW. Check the Eindhoven municipality website for information on city center access.

You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM. The routes in the municipalities Helmond, Best, Oirschot, Veldhoven and Lieshout can be visited from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.
No. GLOW is a free light art festival in the public area. The city will be illuminated with large and small light art projects that are linked together along a walking route through the city. The artworks are created by national and international light artists and for everyone to visit.
You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven & Helmond between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM.
The projects in Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven & Lieshout can be visited between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

The light artworks are connected by a walking route through the city. The route is around five kilometres long and you can join anywhere on the route.

If you are sensitive to epilepsy, we advise against visiting GLOW. The light artworks regularly feature flickering lights, bright flashes and changing colour patterns. These can trigger an epileptic seizure in people who are sensitive to them. Read more about photosensitivity on epilepsie.nl.
Accessibility
The route of GLOW follows the public road as much as possible. We recommend to walk the route, it’s only 5 kilometers. If you do come by bike, take the traffic around you into account.
The GLOW route is fully wheelchair accessible. For more information on (disabled) parking spaces, restrooms, water refill stations, rest areas, and shelters, please refer to the Accessibility Map from the Municipality of Eindhoven.
Stakeholders/residents
