Route
This year’s GLOW Festival route guides hundreds of thousands of visitors along an approximately 5 km walk through the city centre, featuring around 30 light artworks.
With the interactive GLOW map, available online before the festival, you can easily track your location on your phone (when location services are enabled), follow the route, and discover detailed information about the artworks, restaurants and other facilities along the way.
Prefer a printed version? A physical map of Eindhoven is available during GLOW for €2 at an information container along the route (at Central Station and Stadhuisplein). At Tourist Information (VVV) in De Heuvel, the map is also available in advance!

Travel Information
Plan ahead for the crowds around GLOW. The easiest and most environmentally friendly ways to get to GLOW Eindhoven are by public transport or bicycle. This will help you avoid traffic congestion and disruption as much as possible, while also being better for the environment.
Road closures
Every day, several roads in the city centre will be closed to through traffic between 6:00 pm and midnight. See the Car section below for details of the road closures.
Residents
If you live directly along the GLOW route, you will receive a letter from GLOW with information on the best way to access your home during the event. Read more information in the Q&A nelow. More questions? Email info@gloweindhoven.nl.

Are you coming by train? Good choice! Eindhoven has two stations: Eindhoven Centraal and Strijp-S Station. This year the GLOW route is near both stations. Check ns.nl for the latest travel information.
Tip: You no longer need to buy a separate ticket for public transport. With OVpay, you can easily check in and out using your debit card, credit card or mobile phone on trains, buses, trams and the metro. Alternatively, you can apply for the new OV-pas travel card via ovpay.nl.
Surrounding villages and areas often have bus services to Eindhoven Central Station. Check 9292ov.nl for relevant travel information.

Please note! Eindhoven city centre will be transformed for GLOW, making the city more difficult to reach by car during the event. If you do travel by car, please expect traffic congestion. Parts of the city centre will be closed to traffic during GLOW between 6:00 PM and midnight.

Roads expected to experience major traffic disruption during GLOW:
- Vonderweg, between Boschdijk and Mecklenburgstraat: expect major traffic disruption from 7 to 14 November, between 5:00 PM and 11:55 PM. Avoid this road and use the ring road instead.

You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM. The routes in the municipalities Helmond, Best, Oirschot, Veldhoven and Lieshout can be visited from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.
No. GLOW is a free light art festival in the public area. The city will be illuminated with large and small light art projects that are linked together along a walking route through the city. The artworks are created by national and international light artists and for everyone to visit. You do need a ticket for the unique drone experience at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. You can reserve yours via this link.
You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM. The projects in Helmond, Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven & Lieshout can be visited between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

The light artworks are connected by a walking route through the city. The route is around five kilometres long and you can join anywhere on the route.
Public toilets (also accessible for disabled people) can be found in the following locations:
- Philips Stadion (when you have a ticket for the drone experience)
- Public toilet at Heuvel
- Or go to one of the GLOW Hosts, see digital map for the locations.
If you are sensitive to epilepsy, we advise against visiting GLOW. The light artworks regularly feature flickering lights, bright flashes and changing colour patterns. These can trigger an epileptic seizure in people who are sensitive to them. Read more about photosensitivity on epilepsie.nl.
Accessibility
The route of GLOW follows the public road as much as possible. We recommend to walk the route, it’s only 5 kilometers. If you do come by bike, take the traffic around you into account.
The GLOW route is fully wheelchair accessible. For more information on (disabled) parking spaces, restrooms, water refill stations, rest areas, and shelters, please refer to the Accessibility Map from the Municipality of Eindhoven.

Stakeholders/residents
