Light art in Eindhoven & region

GLOW Festival is a celebration for the senses and the imagination. The upcoming edition, CONNECT, will take place from 7 to 14 November 2026. This free festival will once again light up the heart of Eindhoven, as well as Helmond, Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven and Lieshout. Visitors can explore a walking route filled with inspiring light artworks, specially created for and by the region by international and local artists, emerging talents, children and residents.

Opening times

The entire region will light up from Saturday, 7 November through Saturday, 14 November 2026.

Route

This year’s GLOW Festival route guides hundreds of thousands of visitors along an approximately 5 km walk through the city centre, featuring around 35 spectacular light artworks.

With the interactive GLOW map, available online before the festival, you can easily track your location on your phone (when location services are enabled), follow the route, and discover detailed information about the artworks, restaurants and other facilities along the way.

Prefer a printed version? A physical map of Eindhoven is available for €2 at the information kiosk along the route and at the This is Eindhoven Store in De Heuvel.

Accessibility

Prepare for the crowds around GLOW. The easiest and most conscious way to get to GLOW Eindhoven is by public transport or bicycle. This way, you will experience the least inconvenience from traffic and crowds, and it’s also better for the environment.

Traveling by public transport? Coming by public transport? Tip: you no longer need to buy a separate ticket. With OVpay, you can easily check in and out using your debit card, credit card or mobile phone on trains, buses, trams and the metro. Or apply for the new OV-pass via ovpay.nl.

Road closures
Daily, from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, several streets in the city center will be closed to through traffic. Residents living directly along the route will receive a letter from GLOW with information on the best way to access their home. Questions? Email info@gloweindhoven.nl.
