Dar Luz

Dar Luz

The artists have constructed a structure on the Lichtplein, a semi-open square between the Witte Dame and Philips buildings, composed of square wooden frames that are slightly twisted in relation to each other. A thin cloth is stretched around this skeleton and illuminated from the outside. The light not only determines the appearance of the artwork but also influences the lighting and atmosphere inside.

The audience is invited to walk over a wooden bridge that leads through the structure, allowing them to experience the light and space. Inside the structure, a sound composition by Andreas Pasieka can be heard. Sensors register the movements of visitors and the activity within the structure, influencing the light and sound patterns.
