Het Klokhuis - The lifelike ecological footprint
On 17 May, Het Klokhuis showed The Dutch Footprint, a project on which more than 2000 children from Eindhoven and the surrounding area contributed. Everyone needs a piece of the earth to live: farmland for your vegetables, cotton for your clothes, trees for wood. The piece of land that one person needs to live for a year is called your ecological footprint. The footprint of a Dutch person is quite large. About the size of Strijp-T in Eindhoven. On Monday, November 8, 2021, GLOW and all children walked this current ecological footprint with their homemade flower lanterns made of waste! Het Klokhuis made a report.
