An extraterrestrial invasion has left clear marks. Giant, living slime droplets are engulfing the city. Along the Nieuwe Emmasingel, large blobs are forming. The Blobs have descended, capturing your attention as a visitor.

Students from SintLucas studied the movement and shapes of droplets at the GLOW Academy. There, they designed the Blobs, each with its own unique form and ‘life.’ These lively, slimy entities emit light in a way that is both mesmerizing and inviting. As you approach, the Blobs change color, as if responding to your presence. This artwork raises questions about how we engage with unknown life forms and the world around us. It invites you to experiment with these alien objects. How do they react to your approach? What happens when you get closer? Let your curiosity run free and discover the secrets the Blobs have in store!

Yarick is a Creative Technologies student at SintLucas in Eindhoven. With a love for creativity and technology, he is always seeking new ways to improve and innovate his skills. Currently, his focus is on 3D design, turning his ideas into digital models that come to life. Outside his studies, Yarick is constantly learning new techniques and further developing his talents. In his free time, he experiments with new designs and draws inspiration from his surroundings.
