Figures that wander

The Eindhoven ‘live-art’ company United-C focuses on exploring the intersections between image, movement, and performance. During GLOW 2014, director Maarten van der Put and choreographer Pauline Roelants created Figures that wander. In this continuous performance, light objects display a play of lines, and four dancers move behind a semi-transparent wall. Sometimes brightly illuminated, sometimes as shadows, but also up close and highly transparent.

The location at the Spoorzone is ideal for this live performance of light and movement, which will both amaze and touch the audience. The theme of GLOW, ‘City in motion,’ is taken quite literally with Figures that wander: people reside there, walk around, and move on again.
