Le Bal des Luminéoles

The French “Porté par le vent” (carried by the wind) designs poetic creations that float in the air. During GLOW 2013, some of their creatures were on display. With their long tails and fan-like wings, they somewhat resemble birds or fish. They stay aloft with the help of a cloud of helium and are visible at night thanks to softly colored light.

These magical beings have found a pleasant living environment in the city. Above the Willemstraat, they dance a nocturnal ballet. It is as if they have just left the shelter of the tall buildings to show themselves in full glory to the public for a moment.
