Philips has commissioned The Feetgroup to creatively develop a light installation showcasing the latest innovation in vacuum cleaners. The Philips vacuum cleaner, ‘Performer Ultimate,’ utilizes light to make the smallest dust particles visible. The Feetgroup has embraced the challenge and with this project, they bridge the gap between light art and a consumer product that achieves improved performance through innovative light usage.

In the installation called “NOZZLES,” 650 nozzles from this vacuum cleaner are incorporated, each equipped with 4 LED lights. Together on the slanted wall at Kennedyplein, they create a play of light using a total of 2,600 LED lights. This collaboration between The Feetgroup and Philips demonstrates how innovation, design, and art come together in a surprising way.
