Where do you feel at home? And with whom do you share that feeling?
The children and teens from Kunstkwartier’s children’s, youth, and teen workshops used these and other questions as a starting point for their participation in GLOW. For seven weeks, they explored their personal happy place. They brainstormed, gathered ideas, made sketches, designed, and experimented. Sometimes alone, sometimes together. Step by step, their own ideas took shape—a breathtaking and fantastic “happy place,” a fairy-tale world where you can feel free, safe, or simply completely yourself.
During GLOW, these ideas leave the paper and come to life in the hallways of Kunstkwartier. But take note: Shine Your Space! isn’t just an ordinary exhibition—it’s an experience. A place where you, as a visitor, step into the wondrous world of Kunstkwartier’s students. Look around and let yourself be carried away by the mysterious sounds, images, colors, and atmospheres, bathed in light. Will you join us on this journey to this Happy Place?

The Kunstkwartier Arts Center brings more creativity into the daily lives of children, youth, adults, and seniors. Their more than 100 professional instructors do this through courses, workshops, coaching, and customized projects in the fields of dance, music, visual arts, theater, and Pilates—or a combination of these! The most beautiful projects emerge when we seek to connect with one another.
