The Other Side

The Other Side

Every human being is different. We come with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and stories. Yet each person, in their own right, also possesses multiple facets.

In this light artwork, those differences are brought visually to life. Three-dimensional heads reveal a different face from three distinct angles, while mirrors surrounding the sculptures invite you to discover a new perspective at every turn.

The Other Side refers to the other side of a face, but also to that part of someone we do not yet know or understand. A different perspective can shift our gaze. By engaging in open dialogue with one another, room is created for mutual understanding. Because what unites us is not that we are the same, but that we meet each other with respect and as equals.
