GLOW & Dream4Kids give children a magical VIP experience again
Eindhoven, 8 November 2025 – Just before the official opening of GLOW, a magical VIP preview took place yesterday evening, Friday 7 November, for children from Dream4Kids. It was an evening full of smiles — specially organised for children who, due to trauma, are unable to attend the festival during regular opening hours.
In collaboration with Dream4Kids, GLOW once again created a unique experience, where the children were treated as true VIPs as they explored the GLOW route. And this year it was extra special: they were picked up in fire trucks and police cars, complete with flashing lights and sirens, making their evening even more unforgettable. Along the route, the children enjoyed the first light artworks of this anniversary edition.
Alderman Robert Strijk welcomed the children at the City Hall, where, upon their return, they were the very first to admire the anniversary project “The First GLOW”. They also received a small gift from the City of Eindhoven — a Lego set of the City Hall — and a festive treat, rounding off an evening they will remember for a long time.
Through this special collaboration, GLOW and Dream4Kids aim to show that light art connects people, and that everyone, regardless of their background, can be part of the magic of GLOW.
The VIP evening was made possible by: Dream4Kids, City of Eindhoven, ParkingYou, Eindhoven Fire Brigade, Eindhoven Police, Rode Sok Valkenswaard.
