The windows, spires, the arched pattern beneath the eaves, the curved and straight walls—they all come to life during GLOW. The surfaces shift, stretch, vibrate, fall apart, and reveal an immeasurable depth. Once you start watching, you won’t be able to look away.
Distopia is an invitation to you, the viewer, to look at a building—in this case, a medieval castle—with which you’re so familiar, from a different perspective. And as you walk on, to take that imaginative perspective with you into the world.
The soundtrack is titled Utopia Overture and is by Cristobal Tapia de Veer.
About the artist
The Italian studio Onda Studio creates new media art under the direction of artist and architect Marcello Arosio. Together with visual designers, musicians, programmers, developers, and architects, the studio designs audiovisual and interactive artworks. Their goal: to connect people, technology, and space. The viewer is always at the center of this process.
