No matter where you live or who you are, everyone has a wish for the future. Maybe it is a big wish, like world peace. Or perhaps a smaller one, like hoping for snow again. Most of these wishes live only in our minds. But what if you could speak yours out loud? How would that feel? Would saying it already make it a little more real?
Echoes of Tomorrow, created by the student team from Fontys ICT Delta, gives you the chance to merge your wish with those of others in a light installation. Fascinating, right? Tell us what you want most and speak it into one of the floating rings. The sound of your voice lights up a star, which then travels to a central point. There all the wishes come together. The more wishes, the more energy. Until the climax is reached and all the stars shoot upward. It creates a euphoric feeling, like watching fireworks or falling stars together. Echoes of Tomorrow is a visual celebration of collective dreams. Take part, speak out your wish, and experience what it feels like to be an essential part of the whole.
All students from the GLOW Academy participate in the GLOW Talent Award. In this competition, student teams compete for the coveted audience award and jury award. As a visitor, you can vote and help give one of these teams the opportunity to further develop their project, along with a valuable cash prize. Cast your vote too! About the artists
Echoes of Tomorrow is a light installation by the student team from the Delta excellence program at Fontys ICT. The team consists of twelve students: Bram Van Kempen, Tim Brouwers, Antara Frisch, Bas Bakens, Jasper Demmers, Timo Enserink, Melissa Issaoun, Patryk Olejnik, Alexander Popov, Kaan Seçen, Thomas Verhappen, and Jip Voss. They share a passion for ICT and innovation. The team is made up of software developers, designers, and hardware specialists.
