Girl in the Bulb
Light art
Girl in the Bulb is a small yet meaningful artwork created by Roos Ramakers when she was just 12 years old.
A simple sketch of a glowing light bulb, it reveals a tiny figure inside: a girl illuminated by the very light she seems to both observe and create.
For GLOW director Ronald, this drawing has become a lasting symbol of GLOW: a spark of wonder, curiosity, and thinking beyond borders.
It beautifully captures what GLOW stands for, how light can inspire, surprise, and connect us, no matter our age or background.
This is Ronald’s final edition; this piece is a tribute to ten wonderful years, and we thank him for his tireless dedication, commitment, and leadership.
