What if you could dream, imagine, create – what would your ultimate dream place look like? That’s the question we asked residents and young people from Best and the surrounding area. Because when it comes to dreaming without limits and wishing without barriers, this is the place to be. True masters of creativity live here. And what happens when you set them to work with a simple task, armed with markers, coloured pencils or brushes, can be seen in the warehouse behind the Tapijtcentrum in Best.

Within the outlines of a little house with a stepped gable, the residents drew, painted, and coloured their dreams. All those dreams will be illuminated during GLOW, as part of a life-sized light artwork. Each creation will be projected onto one of fifteen wooden houses in the warehouse. It’s a farewell to this space – which will be demolished early next year – and a warm welcome to everything that’s yet to come.

GLOW exists with, thanks to, and through all the people who contribute to the festival – young and old alike. Together, we make GLOW. Can you spot your drawing? Smile, take a photo, glow with pride – and never stop dreaming. Your dreams are worth their weight in gold.
