Through a play of light, colors and moving projections, the audience follows the gaze of a curious child exploring their garden. The Hof van Solms transforms into a secret hideout, flowers begin to dance and small fruits ripen into moments of delight. With video mapping, the artist turns the ordinary into something extraordinary and reveals the hidden poetry of the natural world. Cindy Lo gently reminds us of the child within ourselves, the child that still feels wonder at the sight of a butterfly, the shimmer of light on a leaf or the mystery of a seed coming to life.

About the artist

Cindy Lo

Cindy Lo is a visual artist based in France and graduated as an illustrator and film animator in Paris. Her creations move effortlessly between image and experience. She makes short films and monumental 360 degree projection shows, including six years of independent commissions for the Sharjah Light Festival. Alongside her visual work, she leads accessible artistic workshops that encourage creativity in all participants. Cindy’s work explores diverse worlds such as scientific imagery, micro organisms, biology and botany. Forms and forces from nature are a major source of inspiration for her. These natural influences are reflected in her drawings, which often evoke a dreamlike atmosphere. I want to create art that gives the audience the feeling that it is possible to create and live in a peaceful and harmonious world, says Cindy Lo.
