Lightfall

With great pride, Philips Lighting Design, in collaboration with Kazerne, presents the premiere of Paul Thursfield and Simon Rycroft’s new work ‘Lightfall.’ The work was first exhibited during the Dutch Design Week 2016 and is now highlighted during GLOW.

Lightfall is the final piece in a series of installations exploring generative and interactive light and sound as part of their work on light experiences at Philips Lighting. Lightfall is part of the exhibition ‘ESCAPE – embracing the freedom of beauty’ at Kazerne.

The works in the Kazerne exhibition ESCAPE each possess a profound, sometimes even lyrical expressiveness that momentarily captivates you and makes you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. During your ESCAPE, you are embraced by the haven of beauty, a sanctuary free from judgment, dogmas, and fear. It is a time for reflection and inspiration.
