lngo Bracke works on audiovisual installations, sound art, performances, and lighting for theater productions. Additionally, he creates large-scale projections. In Eindhoven, he has chosen the Lichttoren (Light Tower) as the canvas for his work. The oldest part of this building dates back to 1911 and was constructed as an extension of the Philips factory. The brightly lit tower, where light bulbs were tested, became an iconic symbol of the city. Over time, the building has been repurposed, and it now houses multiple functions.

Bracke’s projection consists of a pattern of graphic forms reminiscent of maps, computer chips, or coding. The image is like lace laid over the surface of the tower. The numerous lines in the pattern push the structure of the building into the background, making it almost impossible to perceive it clearly. Bracke creates an aesthetic piece that references the building’s former function while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of perception.
