Transforming animations into moving images that are played on the table in pixel form… This is the project that fourth-year VMBO students from SintLucas came up with and made for GLOW. Under the supervision of two lecturers they built these tables themselves. There was some soldering involved. ‘It is fun to do something really different sometimes. We needed a while to get into it, but in the end we really got a taste for it’, explains student Timo van der Gaag. Lecturer Jorg Duitsman added: ‘I want to let students make more with their hands. To show them that what you dream up and make on a computer, you can actually transform into a physical product.’
