At the beginning of the Dommelstraat stands a unique and colorful structure. The gate was designed by the Eindhoven Rainbow Collective, a collaboration between Proud ASML, COC Eindhoven and region, TNO Pride, Queer 040, and DayDayGay. This collective worked hand in hand with Lichtjesroute, another well-known Eindhoven light event. The result: a stunning arch illuminated with hundreds of tiny lights, filled with unicorns blowing rainbow hearts to each other. The arches symbolize connection, acceptance, and the happiness of being yourself. Truly heartwarming!

The light artwork #WeGLOWwithLove stands for freedom—the freedom to be yourself, to love whomever you choose, and to celebrate that everyone is unique. With the unicorns on the gate and the symbol of the LGBTIQA+ and queer community, we celebrate diversity in all its forms. And we can’t do it without you. Join the celebration! You might remember this work from last year. For the first time, several LGBTIQA+ and queer organizations joined forces to create a light artwork for GLOW. This year, to mark GLOW’s 20th anniversary, we’re proudly doing it again.
