General information

The GLOW light festival is a celebration for your senses and imagination. The upcoming edition, Connect, will take place from 7 to 14 November 2026 and can be visited free of charge in Lieshout, Eindhoven, Oirschot, Best, Helmond and Veldhoven. Will you join us?

The second edition of GLOW in the municipality of Laarbeek will transform Lieshout into a meeting place filled with light, color, and creativity. Stroll along the short but surprising route at the centre and discover unique light artworks. The route offers a space where people come together. Young or old, local or international: GLOW creates shared moments and lasting memories.

Plan your visit

The easiest way to get to GLOW Lieshout is by public transport or by bike if the distance allows. See below for how to visit Lieshout.

Train

Are you coming by train? Great choice! Intercity and local trains stop at Eindhoven Central Station. From there, you can take public transport to Lieshout. Check  ns.nl  and  ov9292.nl  for the latest travel information.

City bus

Surrounding villages and areas often have a timetable to Eindhoven Central Station. Check 9292ov.nl for relevant travel information.

Bike

Lieshout has several bike racks. Park at one of these bike racks to directly follow the GLOW route:

  • At the ‘De Grindbak’ parking lot, opposite the Bavaria Brewery Café

Car

Attention! The city center is dedicated to GLOW, and Lieshout will not be as easily accessible by car during these days. Are you coming by car anyway? Then please be aware of traffic congestion.

Coming by car? You can park at one of these locations:

FAQ

When does GLOW start and finish?

You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM. The routes in the municipalities Helmond, Best, Oirschot, Veldhoven and Lieshout can be visited from Saturday, November 7th, up to and including Saturday, November 14th, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

What time does GLOW start?

You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven & Helmond between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM.

The projects in Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven & Lieshout can be visited between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

Do I need a ticket for GLOW?

No. GLOW is a free light art festival in the public area. The city will be illuminated with large and small light art projects that are linked together along a walking route through the city. The artworks are created by national and international light artists and for everyone to visit.

Can I contribute to GLOW as an entrepreneur?

Is GLOW accessible for wheelchairs?

Yes, the GLOW route is fully wheelchair accessible.

Press information

GLOW has international allure, and that’s something worth writing about. It’s an excellent opportunity for the press to view and discover new artists and light art projects. Members of the press are also welcome at GLOW for reports and interviews.
