Call it an origin, a starting point, a click or a clash. A moment of convergence and awakening. Welcome to Connect, the theme of light festival GLOW 2026. A place to encounter, interact, and connect – with people, technology, and your surroundings. From 7 to 14 November, light art will flow through Eindhoven, Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven, Helmond, and Lieshout. The region will come alive with light, and you are invited to be part of it.

Connect is the moment that something begins to pulse. Between people. Between glances, words, and silences. It creates space to move, to respond, to speak. Or simply to listen and take it all in. At the same time, Connect explores networks and systems that have meaning only when they come together. It reflects on the relationship between you and the artworks, between the city and the region, between past and future in a constantly changing world.

Above all, Connect is a shared story told throughout the region for eight luminous days. We walk the route together. Some join along the way, others pause or quicken their pace. Not everyone starts at the same time, walks at the same speed, or experiences it in the same way, yet along the way our paths cross. You look up, slow down, and walk together for a while. Light marks the places where we meet, making the region feel familiar, close, and welcoming.

Buildings, squares, parks, and streets become carriers of light art. During Connect, you’ll encounter indoor and outdoor projections, temporary and permanent installations, and unique artworks created especially for their locations. What they all have in common is collaboration, between international and local artists, emerging talent, schools, residents, children, seniors, and businesses. They are created with you.

GLOW is something we create together. You’ll see it, feel it, and experience it during Connect, from 7 to 14 November 2026.
