Call it an origin, a starting point, a click or a clash. A moment where things come together and something new is born. Welcome to Connect, the theme of light festival GLOW 2026 — a place for encounter, interaction and relation between people, technology and environment. From 7 to 14 November, light art flows through Eindhoven, Oirschot, Best, Veldhoven, Helmond and Lieshout. The region lights up, and you are invited to take part.

Connect is the moment when something starts to pulse. Between people. Between glances, words and silences. It invites movement, to respond, to speak, or to pause, listen and take it in.

At the same time, Connect is about networks and systems that only gain meaning when they are linked. About the relationship between you and the light artworks, between city and region, and with the ever-changing environment we inhabit,  between old and new. Every encounter with light sets something in motion.

Above all, Connect is a shared story the region tells for eight days. Together, we step onto the route. One joins in, another steps away or quickens their pace. Not everyone starts at the same moment, walks at the same rhythm or catches the same light, but along the way you meet each other. You look up, slow down, and walk together for some time. The lights mark the places where you meet. In this way, the region feels familiar, close and welcoming.

Buildings, squares, parks and streets become carriers of light art. During Connect, you walk past indoor and outdoor projections, temporary installations and works that bring together, surprise and give new meaning to their surroundings. They are created in collaboration with international and local artists, emerging talent, schools, residents, children, older generations and businesses.
