Call for concepts

GLOW invites all artists, collectives, and collaborations to apply for participation in the light festival. All submissions will be considered for the 2026 edition and may be featured in Eindhoven as well as in regional festivals.

What are we looking for?
GLOW is seeking an innovative light artwork — new or existing — that is both visually striking and socially engaging in public space. This open call specifically focuses on technology within light art, and GLOW is looking for pioneering and forward-thinking projects. The selected light artwork will be given a prominent location along the GLOW route, where it will inspire and connect hundreds of thousands of visitors from all walks of life.

When?
The open call for the 2025 edition is closed. All new submissions will be considered for the 2026 edition.

How does it work?
GLOW Eindhoven will designate a location that suits the concept and enhances its impact. A limited budget is available for technology, (side) production, and security. All other costs, funding, and/or partnerships are the responsibility of the artist.

Submit your proposal before January 1, 2026 to info@gloweindhoven.nl with the subject line: Open Call 2026. Your submission should include:

• Project title
• Name of artist or collective, including collaborations, partners, or funding partners
• Motivation (max. 200 words)
• Project description (max. 200 words)
• A brief technical description explaining how you envision the realization of the project, including the required square meters, dimensions of the work, and an estimation of the weight
• Up to 3 sketches, photos, or videos as separate files
