Every year, the GLOW Talent Award shines a light on emerging talents from the region. Together with Simac, GLOW has nominated eight works. Simac connects people and technology. As a partner of the GLOW Talent Award, they invest in developing the next generation of talent and help ideas come to life.
GLOW Academy
Some of these works have been developed within the GLOW Academy by student teams from various educational institutions such as SintLucas, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Summa College, HKU, and TU Eindhoven. They participate in the Awards to win a prestigious prize. The teams work on their projects for almost a year, guided by teachers, light artists, and mentors from industry. GLOW is the moment when they present their work to a wide audience.
Audience Award
As a visitor, you can vote for one of the student teams. The team with the most votes will win a €1,000 prize. This prize helps further develop and professionalise the concept.
Professional Jury Award
A professional jury evaluates the nominated projects based on GLOW’s core values: accessibility, innovation, connection, and the WOW factor. The winner will receive a €2,000 incentive prize to further develop the project for GLOW 2026

The ASML Student Fund gives student teams the opportunity to apply for a grant to partially finance their projects. Through this initiative, ASML encourages young people to develop their talent, creativity, and innovation in alignment with the festival experience of GLOW Eindhoven.
