Dommelbrug

located between de Effenaar and Villa de Laak

Ben Hohmann is a designer and he used to be a resident of the Villapark. He made sure that the bridge at the beginning of the Parklaan was light up again.

Hohmann went to the Municipality in 2014 with his idea to light up the small bridge. As a designer he wanted to give back to the city of Eindhoven, of which he is really proud. He discovered that in the past there were lighting elements that lit up the Dommelbrug but that these elements have vanished. To give passing the Dommelbrug a special effect, he came up with a design of six pillars, seamlessly integrated into the existing bridge, which illuminate the bridge with floodlighting.
