Heras

Hekdam 1, Oirschot

Standing tall as a proud beacon of light, this artwork illuminates the headquarters of Heras. Using a technique known as PANI projection, artist Daniël Margraf creates a colourful haze of shapes and images that tell stories. These are enormous slides, with the stately building alongside the A58 motorway serving as his canvas.

Daniël Margraf is a master of light art. Using gigantic projectors, he transforms a building you might pass without a second thought during the day into an unmissable work of art. In doing so, he adds a new layer to the world we often take for granted. It is as if he is saying: look around you, the stories are there for the taking. This artwork is like a giant puzzle picture. Everyone sees something different, and there is always something new to discover. Just like in everyday life, as long as you keep your eyes open.
