Hidden Towers

In the large dome hall on the Markt, the Czech artist collective, The Macula, has realized an impressive 360-degree projection. The work is inspired by the writings of science fiction author William Gibson, often called the father of ‘cyberpunk.’

The visitor embarks on a surreal visual journey through the future of cyberspace. With their imagination, Macula elevates the techniques of dome projection, VFX, and motion graphics into art. This project is the result of an international collaboration between GLOW and light festivals in the cities of Torún (Poland), Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Prague (Czech Republic) under the name Alipi; it was made possible with support from the European Union.
