Human Tiles is a projection on the side of the Clock Building, one of the most eye-catching Philips buildings in Strijp-S. The projection resembles a large typical Portuguese tile tableau with symmetrical patterns. The tile pattern continuously changes.
Next to the projector, a camera is set up facing a blank surface. Images of the visitors are processed in real-time and integrated into the projection. The audience sees themselves reflected in the thousands of small images that make up the projection and can directly influence the result. Thus, the Dutch street scene transforms into a building with a Portuguese touch.
