The car is present everywhere in our streets. There are very few places in the Netherlands where you do not see cars. Not surprising, as for many people it is still the favorite means of transport, convenient and door to door. But what if you were to look at the car differently: as a living creature, for example. How would that change the way you see the world around you?

Jan Boiten worked together with car manufacturer MINI and casts a new light on the familiar four wheeler in his own unique way. The headlights become two friendly, wandering eyes. They look at you, or do they not. The MINI first needs to come out of its shy shell. But once the connection is made, the affection is clearly visible. But wait, is it searching for something. Oh, it startles. And hold on, is this MINI challenging me.

The friendly MINI comes to life, for a moment, during GLOW. After that, it returns to its steady work as our transporter from A to B. But if you think of it after GLOW, will you give it a pat on the shoulder.
