The light festival GLOW is a celebration for your senses and imagination. The upcoming edition, The Light, will take place from November 8 to 15, 2025, and is free to visit in Eindhoven, Oirschot, Best, Helmond, and Veldhoven. Will you join us?

During its first edition, GLOW transforms Veldhoven into an enchanting light setting, where you’ll discover beautiful light artworks in unexpected places, squares, and streets. The route is a place where people come together and share experiences. From young to old, national to international, GLOW creates shared moments and memories. Walk along several light installations created by international and local artists, specially made for—and by—residents and visitors.

The easiest way to get to GLOW Veldhoven is by public transport or by bike if the distance allows. See below for how to visit Veldhoven.

Train

Are you coming by train? Great choice! Intercity and local trains stop at Eindhoven Central Station. From there, you can take public transport to Oirschot. Check ns.nl and ov9292.nl for the latest travel information.

City bus

Surrounding villages and areas often have a timetable to Eindhoven Central Station. Check 9292ov.nl for relevant travel information.

Bike

Veldhoven has several bike racks. Park at one of these bike racks to directly follow the GLOW route.

Car

Attention! The city center is dedicated to GLOW, and Veldhoven will not be as easily accessible by car during these days. Are you coming by car anyway? Then please be aware of traffic congestion. Parts of the city center will be closed during GLOW between 18:00 and 23:00.

You can visit all the light artworks in the city center of Eindhoven from Saturday, November 8th, up to and including Saturday, November 15th, 2025, between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM. The projects in the municipalities can be visited from Saturday, November 8th, up to and including Saturday, November 15th, 2025, between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

What time does GLOW start?

Do I need a ticket for GLOW?

GLOW is a free light art festival in the public areas of Eindhoven. The city will be illuminated with large and small light art projects that are linked together along a walking route through the city. The artworks are created by national and international light artists and for everyone to visit.

Is GLOW accessible for wheelchairs?

The GLOW route is fully wheelchair accessible. For more information on (disabled) parking spaces, restrooms, water refill stations, rest areas, and shelters, please refer to the Accessibility Map from the Municipality of Eindhoven.

I live on the GLOW route and my road is closed, where can I find more information?

Daily, from 18:00 to 23:00, several roads in the city center will be closed to through traffic. If you live directly in the event area, you will receive a letter from GLOW with information on how to best reach your home. Questions? Email to
