About the artist
Un Poco Loco
The street artists of Un Poco Loco use public space as their stage. Their fire and light shows are a blend of acrobatics, theater, and dance.
A performance is being staged at the Markt about the elements water, earth, air, and fire, and their interconnectedness and relation to light. The light includes artificial light in the form of stage lighting and projections, as well as natural light; fire.
Four artists embody each of the elements. Water is also represented by a stilt walker with enormous wings reminiscent of rippling water. The elements of earth and air are depicted using a transparent plastic ball with a diameter of over three meters, on and around which dancing takes place. Fire, finally, provides a spectacular finale to the show with flamethrowers and spinning torches. The lighting, choreography, and, not to be forgotten, the partially live music, create a breathtaking spectacle.
