There Once Was A Pond

TAC, Eindhoven

Deep in the forest lies a magical pond. You can hear sounds from afar. But where is that music coming from? The lily pads on the ground will show you the way. Feel free to step on the pads at your feet. Can you hear what’s happening?

There Once Was a Pond is an exhibition developed during GLOW Labs. Students from TU/e (Emma de Boer, Roy Op het Veld, Mink Veltman, and Hanna Loschacoff) explored how they could connect strangers in a unique and playful way. They succeeded with various friendly, curiosity-piquing installations. See for yourself during GLOW.

About the artist

TU/e

The creators of this project are students at Eindhoven University of Technology: Emma de Boer, Roy Op het Veld, Mink Veltman, and Hanna Loschacoff. Through a collaborative project that highlighted their interest in light, music, and installation art, they continued their work within GLOW Labs. There, they explored how these elements can bring people together in a public space, drawing on their combined expertise in experience design, technology, and psychology.
