GLOW Talkshow: Glowen en Pielen

De Aftrap, Eindhoven

Glowen en Pielen is the GLOW Talkshow, hosted by actor Mike Weerts, comedian Rob Scheepers and artist Daan van der Linden. At its heart is one question: what do (or did) four iconic connectors mean for Eindhoven? From stadium bar De Aftrap, Mike, Rob and Daan talk it over with well-known locals. The talkshow runs from 20:00 to 22:00 and is open to the public. On other evenings, too, there’s plenty of culture, good company and great food and drink to enjoy at De Aftrap. You won’t want to miss this!

• On Saturday 7 November, our hosts look back on world star Romário’s time at PSV with PSV legends Mart van den Heuvel and Paul van Kemenade.
• On Monday 9 November, legendary protest singer Armand sparks a conversation with guests including Björn van der Doelen and Jac van Dongen.
• On Thursday 12 November, Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem joins us to talk about the Father of Eindhoven, Frits Philips, and Gerry Kox comes by to talk about her husband Arnol.

Each talkshow evening features music from some very special Eindhoven artists.

During GLOW, we’re literally putting the connecting power of four iconic Eindhoven figures (Romário, Armand, Frits Philips and Arnol Kox) in the spotlight. We’re doing that with this talkshow and with the glowing portraits that artist Daan van der Linden made of them. You’ll find them outside the PSV stadium.
