During GLOW 2011, Studio VOLLAERSZWART transformed the Dommel tunnel into a Tunnel of Love. Thousands of heart-shaped stickers on the ceiling, walls, and floor created a dizzying visual spectacle. The existing lighting was replaced with blacklight lamps, causing the fluorescent stickers to glow in the dark tunnel and appear to detach from the surface.
VOLLAERSZWART immersed us in a sugary-sweet fantasy world in the Tunnel of Love. No one could escape the love virus, gradually spreading through the entire city via the passing public.
