GLOW in the region

Beyond the city limits

For the first time in nearly two decades, GLOW ventured beyond Eindhoven’s familiar city limits in 2023. For eighteen years, people from all over the world gathered in the city center to admire impressive light artworks. Since then, the surrounding region has also been illuminated, with hidden spots, cozy squares, and green parks setting the stage for this open-air festival. Explore the region and visit the municipalities of Best, Oirschot, and Helmond for even more light art!

Attention!

  • Best and Oirschot are open for visits from November 9 to 16, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Helmond is open for visits from November 10 to 16, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Best

After the success of last year, GLOW is back in Best! From November 9 to 16, 2024, you can admire beautiful light artworks in a 2 km route through the village center. From an interactive piece by the artist collective Inook at the Town Hall, Michel Suk’s dream world in the Koetshuistuin, to the impressive artwork by Daniel Margraff at the Church: the route offers something special for everyone. At the Stationsplein, you will see Hermes Mangialardo’s projection, and local artist Hera van den Heuvel will illuminate the Chapel in a surprising way. In the Molen, Hugo Vrijdag will create something special together with children from Best, the Archipelago, and CELLO.

Visitors can admire the artworks every evening from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
